Armidi is a name that nearly everyone has encountered at one point or another in their Second Life shopping sprees and if they haven’t they sure should have! I had no idea of the treasure hiding in Second Life and the minute I found it I swear that my mouth was hanging out and I was ready to max out my credit cards to buy every single thing in the shop! But common sense and good judgment prevailed that day and I am not penniless or destitute! Kaylena proceeds to try to pat herself on the back for not letting her shopping addiction cause her to declare bankruptcy. After I picked my jaw up off the floor and rolled my tongue right back into my head, securing it with duct tape- wouldn’t stay in by itself- I began to wade through the virtual Jell-O that we call lag in this wonderful little world of ours and stared in amazement at garment after dress after outfit that marred the well designed walls of the Armidi shops.
Upon teleporting in, I felt as if I was in a real life shop and the clothes just furthered that realism. The outfits were designed with normal people in mind. If you are not into walking around in virtual lingerie- although with the bodies we can create in SL who could blame us- Armidi is the perfect shop for you. From short sexy minis to sweet baby doll dresses to the classy pantsuits with varied accessories and shoes at your disposal, I was in virtual heaven at that point. Well I was ALMOST in heaven. The lag dragged me right back to reality and I found myself cursing my computer, second life, my connection, the cable guy- hell anyone in connection to technology! I soon realized, through one of my nieces, that Armidi had a wonderful online site that all second lifers could visit and purchase their items after a quick registration, completely avoiding the hell of lag! Oh at that point there was no stopping me from reaching cloud nine. And in my shopping I chose, with great difficulty and indecision I might add, a few pieces so let’s take a look!

Yes I know what you are thinking. That ho has a red fetish! I wouldn’t call it a fetish but I do love red and the passion that comes with it so most of my wardrobe tends to have some red and black and white in it. I like blue as well, but I digress. The first dress to your left is called the Keiko Tunic Dress [Vixen] and it was one of the first outfits that I fell in love with at their online shop. It’s casual but has a bit of sexy to it and the fact that it shows off my legs to perfection had me whipping out that credit card so fast I nearly cut myself with it. I had to modify my hips to fit it correctly- if it were only that easy in real life eh?? But after a bit of tweaking I got the look just right for this outfit. I also knew the minute I saw those Black Oxford Leather Ankle Boots that it would go wonderfully with that dress! The second outfit, Gisaci's Red Square Cut Linen Mini, is probably my favorite out of the trio because it is so form fitting and shows off my body tremendously with no unsightly bulges or belly fat. I made sure I didn’t have any to tell you the truth. It also frames my upper proportions brilliantly without it being vulgar or tasteless and it is something I am always looking for in my clothing selections. Yes, I know it looks as if I abused the slider that controlled my bust but you'll just have to get over that! lol. This outfit is perfect for a night at the club or for that sexy date! The sexy Black/Gold Viniani heels sets the look off just right.
The third is a more formal piece, and when I saw it I fell quickly head over heels with it and got it without a second thought. Gisaci’s Spanish Devilsberry Cuadro with the Black/Gold Viniani heels made me feel like I was ready for a night on the town at a nice jazz club to meet that special man of mine. The uneven hem gives it a feel of playfulness while the top frames and supports me wonderfully. Every woman should have a sexy-as-hell red dress in their inventory for any occasion to wow their audience.
All in all, I believe that this was a prefect outing and got everything I could’ve have hoped for and more in my visit to Armidi. And I highly recommend a trip there for any woman with the computer that can handle it otherwise I recommend a visit to their online site. Hehe.
