Walking through the rough streets of SL, my feet aching from the wonderful Moody's- SL Gods never intended those for hiking- and I found myself more and more drawn to the couture clothing of Second Life. Now I love shopping and I can't resist high quality clothing but the couture I am talking about is somewhat old-chic style, which has never really been my taste to be honest. As I continued to peruse the shelves and windows of the 5th avenue shops I came across Beauty Avatar and instantly fell in love with everything I saw. I was supremely surprised that I did not bankrupt myself buying the complete store out and overloading my already whimpering inventory that had been begging just days before for a cleaning and reorganization.
After much deliberation and 100 laps through the pristine, white store I finally decided on two dresses that topped my list of things I have to get before my pixels wither and die away. They were both very classic in style and my favorite color- next to crimson of course. The style made me think of the 20s and 30s back in the day when style was really style and classy was just that. I can't say what drew me specifically to these two outfits. Maybe it was the low-cut, daring show of décolletage that probably would’ve ended me in the pokey at a certain time. Perhaps the playful yet defining skirt as it swished about my legs and hips was the persuading factor in my decision. It could’ve been the beautifully designed and detailed accessories around the neck that were bold and shouted out their unique quality to the sky. Whatever drew me it was certainly money well spent and I can’t say I regret a penny.
